Pooch & Mutt Slim & Slender Complete Dog Food

‘Slim & Slender’ is a vet recommended, premium, grain-free, complete dry food for dogs that are overweight. This is ideal if you are looking for a dry food to help manage your dog’s weight while promoting a slim and slender body composition.

The food is packed with active ingredients, including 45% lean free run chicken; a low-fat protein source rich in l-carnitine, a natural fat burner that helps to speed up metabolism. It is high in fibre to aid satiety and is packed with additional supplements such as CLA to aid weight loss, alongside glucosamine and chondroitin to support joints carrying extra weight.

Pooch & Mutt ‘Slim & Slender’ complete dry food also contains NUTRA-BIONIC, a unique supplement that includes ingredients which provide a healthy skin and coat, aid digestion, reduce stool odour and support urinal tract health.

Composition: Freshly prepared chicken (25%), sweet potato (25%), dried chicken (16%), potato, peas, pea protein (6%), dried beet pulp, chicken oil (2%), chicken gravy (2%), linseed, alfalfa, psyllium (0.08%), cranberry (0.04%), glucosamine (0.026%), chondroitin sulphate (160 mg/kg), minerals, mannanoligosaccharides (prebiotic mos), fructooligosaccharides (prebiotic fos), yucca schidigera extract (0.01%).

The quantities below are meant as a rough guide. The correct amount of food will depend on your dog’s level of activity, breed, age and if they are overweight or underweight.

SMALL DOGS (1-10kg) 70-120 g/day

MEDIUM DOGS (11-30kg) 120-270g/day

LARGE DOGS (31kg-50kg) 270-395 g/day

GIANT DOGS (51kg +) 395 g/day

If you are changing your dogs food we recommend that you introduce the new food gradually. Start by replacing 25% of their existing food for the first 2-3 days, then 50% for a further 2-3 days, then 75% for a final 2-3 days.
